Malaysia is warm and tropical all year. The key is the monsoon: the east-coast islands close during the northeast monsoon, while the west coast and Borneo stay open.

🚗 Getting around
In the cities
Grab (ride-hailing) is easy and cheap; KL also has trains & monorail. We can pre-book airport transfers so you skip the queue.
Between regions
Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo are far apart — use a domestic flight (e.g. KL → Kota Kinabalu). Plan flight days as light, low-activity days.
Paying & connectivity

🛡️ Is Malaysia safe? (and the Sabah question)
Malaysia is a popular, welcoming destination and generally safe for families and solo travellers. Use normal precautions and licensed operators.
About Sabah: mainland Sabah and Kota Kinabalu are visited by huge numbers of tourists. Some governments advise extra caution for the east-coast islands near the Sulu Sea.
